Cockatiels

Max Nonny
Mango and Phoebe Zsa Zsa

"Animal Control Seven" "Animal Control Seven" is a flock of five males and two females who are retired breeder cockatiels believed to be at least 15 years old. After serving their owner for his financial gain, they were tossed aside and dumped at Animal Control. They are such a wonderful, compatible group with a couple of real standout personalities. Romeo absolutely sings his heart out to any bird that will listen and does lots of wild bird vocalizations. None in this group are amenable to hand taming and it shouldn't be asked of them – they are such a delight to just let them be themselves. They deserve a wonderful retirement home. Potential adopters should consider homing at least two or three from this group.

"Nonny" Nonny is a female Lutino Cockatiel that escaped the jaws of an inquisitive dog. Her age is unknown. Due to her escape, she was extremely skittish when she joined us but she’s now doing better. Nonny currently lives with PJ and our ‘No Name’ male.

Mango and Phoebe Mango and Phoebe are a precious young pair of Cockatiels. Mango, age 3, can call "Phoebe" and say "pretty bird”. He’s a very outgoing, gregarious normal grey male. Phoebe, age 2, is a lovely cinnamon female that is very reserved. With a little patience she will become a wonderful addition to a family. We hope they will be able to stay together as a pair in their next home.

Zsa Zsa Zsa Zsa is a female cinnamon-pied Cockatiel of unknown age. She was found outdoors and was surrendered to CPR. Zsa Zsa has an absolutely resplendent crest that she loves to display. She’s quite shy but not terrified of us and she will be a great companion to hang out with her new family.
