Conures
Carpe, one of our long-term residents, is a 22-year-old, male Blue-crown Conure. He’s protective of his home but once out of his cage, he’s quite the gentleman. He prefers to step up to your arm rather than to your hand. Carpe tends to do most of his talking later in the day and he has quite a few phrases and animal sounds. Carpe is also the protector of his ‘little sister’ the precious Kahlua (Hahn's Macaw) and they would be so happy to be adopted together (separate cages will be required).

Gipper and Poe – Gipper is a Jenday Conure and Poe is a Nanday conure, Both are male and their ages aren’t known. Their owner rescued them separately 10 years ago (after she found Gipper in a trash can!) and they became a bonded pair while in her home. Due to their Mom’s serious health issues they joined us a couple of years ago. Gipper has feather issues but he has recently started training and is doing well. Both of these guys are very sweet birds and this pair must be adopted together.
